Hi there! I’m Charlotte.

Here’s where you’ll find me baking Coconut Granola Bars, writing about the way Spaghetti a la Boutargue reminds me of my grandfather, and how, this summer, Tel Aviv crawled under my skin.

I was born in Los Angeles to French parents, which resulted in yearly transatlantic migrations to Paris. Next, my family moved to Israel, where I lived in Jerusalem and Beersheba. I began this blog while living in Brooklyn, New York; I currently live in Tel Aviv. Most of the time, I feel like I’m hovering somewhere above the Atlantic, twisted roots dangling from the soles of my feet.

As for the name of this blog: I love chocolate, so Charlotte au Chocolat, a classic French dessert, seemed pretty fitting.
